KMC college is the only senior college in Khalapur Taluka, which is run by K.T.S.P. Mandal, a renowned institution in Raigad district, that was established in the year 1957. Being registered as a public trust and society, K. T. S. P. Mandal has been striving to achieve the objectives of bringing about a transformation in the educational, cultural and social fields in Maharashtra. It is running 11 schools in English & Marathi medium, 3 Junior colleges, a Polytechnic and a Senior college.
